The FESSH monograph on "Fracture of the hand and carpus" is now available to preorder. Mr Muir and his colleagues from the Manchester Hand Institute have a chapter in the book on K-wiring and cerclage wiring.

The FESSH newsletter was published today. It has a new link to the EBHS diploma exam website with biographies of Professor Richter and Mr Muir, chairman and co-chairman.
BSSH in Cardiff 3rd and 4th May 2018
Mr Muir is presenting in two sessions in Cardiff. Firstly on scaphoid fractures on Thursday. Secondly he is presenting in the medico legal session on Friday.

German Hand Society (DGH)
Mr Muir gave an invited lecture on PIP joint arthroplasty to the DGH in Munich on Friday 13 October. The introductory part in German appeared to be well received.
