On Thursday 5 November Mr Muir and a number of colleagues from Spire hospitals across the North West gave a GP symposium hosted by Spire. Mr Muir's talk was on hand conditions. The feedback has been positive and can be seen here .

The Autumn meeting took place in London on Thursday 15 and Friday 16 October. Mr Muir had the privilege of chairing the first session along with Mr Rupert Eckersley.

Our latest publication is in conjunction with the departments of hand surgery in Birmingham and in Hull and East Yorkshire. It is on scaphoid fractures. The Journal of Hand Surgery website with the details may be accessed here.

Professor Herrick and Mr Muir have written an article on Raynaud's disease for the BMJ blog. It was published today. The blog may be accessed here.
Mr Muir has been appointed Honorary Senior Lecturer (Teaching) at the University of Manchester (Manchester Medical School) as from 27 April 2015. Formerly he was honorary lecturer.
Mr Muir has been lecturing this week to the British Society of Rheumatology in Manchester and at the British Society for Surgery of the Hand in Bath
